Cabo Verde: Carvalho Forced to Find Internal Balances in New PAICV Government
The victory of PAICV in the legislative elections of 17.MAY - predictably with an absolute majority of 37 MPs, compared to 33 for MpD and 2 for UCID - paves the way for the formation of a government that will be negotiated internally in the coming weeks, taking into account regional balances, party sensitivities and technocratic appointments.
