Equatorial Guinea: Turkish Partnership with Obiang on Port Management
Controlled by BERAT ALBAYRAK, a Turkish oligarch, son-in-law of PR RECEP TAYYIP ERDOĞAN and former Minister of Energy and Finance—the Albayrak Group enjoys political backing from the Ankara regime. The group was reportedly involved in the arrangement with the Obiang family, much like other Turkish business groups operating in Gulf of Guinea countries, including Guinea-Bissau (AM 1552).
