Mozambique: Machipanda Concession Under Suspicion
The Saga/Nexon proposal included Norton Rose Fulbright (legal), Rand Merchant Bank and Waterborne Capital (financial dossier), as well as specialized technical consultants. According to the consortium, the bidding committee violated several principles, such as equality (differential treatment among competitors), impartiality (non-objective evaluation of criteria), transparency (lack of justification) and proportionality. A formal complaint was filed demanding a reassessment of the assigned score.
