São Tomé and Príncipe: Vila Nova’s Victory Hastens Patrice's Downfall
After his political allies lost control of ROSEMA (AM Flash 26-14), PATRICE TROVOADA is now accumulating judicial and political setbacks. The candidate he supported for PR, NITO D’ABREU (NA), was defeated by CARLOS VILA NOVA in the 19.JUL presidential elections. NA did not win any of the country's six districts or the autonomous region of Príncipe, where he was supported by the president of the regional government, FILIPE do NASCIMENTO (FN).
