Angola: Uncertainty Over New Natural Gas Plan
Upstream activity includes part of associated gas, produced from oil fields, and another from new gas fields, which intersects with the strategy of awarding new blocks, with a view to increasing research and exploration.
With a set of initiatives and actions, the plan is presented as strategic to be implemented over 25 years. Some of the measures are already being implemented, others require consolidation and some still need to be launched from scratch.
The part that is already underway includes the installation of a petrochemical industry (fertilizers) near the Angola LNG project, in operation in Soyo and contributing to state revenues. READ MORE
