Southern Africa: Electoral Fraud with a Compromised Future
The new president of Botswana, DUMA BOKO, elected by the opposition, invited opposition figures from all the countries in the region to the official ceremony of his investiture. The special deference shown to the leader of UNITA, ADALBERTO COSTA JÚNIOR (ACJ), was particularly noted. Among the invited presidents of the region's countries, the absences of JOÃO LOURENÇO (JL) and FILIPE NYUSI were noted.
