GRAHAM KERR, CEO of South32, the majority shareholder of Mozal, went in MAY to Mozambique, where he met with several members of the government. It was the second visit in five months - the previous one had been in DEC.2023 - having on the agenda the future of the company's energy supply.
The power supply contract with Eskom will expire in MAR.2026 and Mozal's objective is an extension. Only then would a new contract be made for a longer term, possibly 10 years. READ MORE
