Equatorial Guinea: Militaristic ‘Dreams’ of “Teodorin”
The maritime security agreements that Spain has been concluding with some of the countries in the Gulf of Guinea region are seen as a threat by Vice-PR TEODORO NGUEMA OBIANG MANGUE (“Teodorin”), who intends to prepare for possible “hidden” intentions of Madrid and neighboring countries. The main concern is Cameroon and Spain's alleged intention to establish a permanent military base in Gabon.
With the tutelage of Defence and Security, the first born son of PR TEODORO OBIANG (TO) and his likely successor (AM 1422) convened in the middle of JAN. a meeting with the leaders of the three branches of the armed forces, intelligence service and police, where a 10-year strategic plan developed by the office of the vice-PR was discussed. The plan is for 2034 and aims to reform the armed forces and the security forces, with the modernization, training and procurement of military equipment and the exponential increase in the number of military personnel to 100 thousand.
