The equipment was landed in Pemba and formally given to the African Union, which handed it over to SADC/SAMIM.
After the SAMIM’s mandate expires in JUL.2024, part of the equipment will be deployed to the DR Congo, where the SADC is already engaged, and the rest should be donated to the Armed Defence Forces of Mozambique (FADM). READ MORE
