Angola: Lourenço ‘Aura’ in Loss Abroad
Angola's position in the recent AG/UN vote on Ukraine (AM 1391) has already been calculated to give rise to interpretations according to which Angolan policy is becoming out of alignment with the interests of Western countries, in the expectation that such an effect will work as an element of pressure capable of leading to a moderation of their judgments about the regime.
For the first time in the history of Angolan diplomacy, several Intelligence officers were placed as ambassadors in various diplomatic representations to which a recent diplomatic move was extended.
