One month after the XII FRELIMO Congress, the party leadership keeps open the possibility of proposing a third term for FILIPE NYUSI (FN), PR and party leader. Two prominent members of the group appointed by the party to publicly defend FN and “nullify” the critics, once again hinted at the possibility of revising the Constitution to accommodate a probable third term.

The positions of the “militia”, who act by delegation and under the mandate of the group currently in power, are testing public opinion/creating an enabling environment, simultaneously gathering information that allows a decision to be taken on the matter.
