The Sao Tome National Petroleum Agency, at the level of its management, is taking for granted the existence of oil in marketable quantity in Block 6 being drilled in the EEZ. Adding to the favorable local prospects, Shell, Galp's exploration partner, has been reinforcing its presence in São Tomé for the security of its investments.
