Former prosecutor with the DNIC (currently SIC), TERESA DIAS was welcomed by MAPTS staff with the expectation that she could put an end to a history of misappropriation of funds from institutions under the Ministry's supervision. Prior to her appointment, TD worked at Endiama.

Particular expectations created the announcement of an inventory of INSS assets and their use over the years, ordered by presidential order (20/20). Doubts remain as to whether the investigation was carried out, which, according to different sources consulted, was done, but managed in a confidential manner, or not at all.
