The “kidnapping business” is linked to the death of some prosecutors, judges and criminal investigation police officers. Regarding these murders, none of the investigations and trials of the authors of the crimes led to the identification of the perpetrators and, when certain names are mentioned, the witnesses/perpetrators disappear from prison or are shot dead in isolated places.

When the pressure of public opinion or civil society increases on judicial authorities and security services in the sense of identifying and disclosing the masterminds of the crimes, the unofficial thesis arises that the kidnappings are commanded from outside the country.
