Currently, c. two dozen soldiers are in detention, part of which have past connections to drug trafficking. In this group, made up mainly of members of the Balanta ethnic group, there are also elements of the personal security of ex-PM ARISTIDES GOMES, ex-minister GERALDO MATIAS and other ex-governors.
